Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 October 2026

These terms cover your use of IELTS Today at ieltstoday.uk, which is run by IELTS Today ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use IELTS Today.

Who can use it

You must be at least 16 years old. If you're under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you need permission from a parent or guardian.

Your account

You sign in with your Google account. Keep it secure, and don't share your IELTS Today account with anyone else. You're responsible for what happens under your account.

What the service is

IELTS Today provides IELTS-style practice tests, scoring, feedback, progress tracking and study plans. Band scores are estimates to guide your practice. They aren't official IELTS results, and we don't guarantee any particular score on the real exam.

IELTS Today is independent. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by IELTS, the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia, or Cambridge University Press & Assessment. IELTS is a trademark of its respective owners.

AI feedback

Writing and Speaking feedback is generated by AI. It can contain mistakes, so use it as one input to your preparation, not as a final judgement. The Privacy Policy explains what we send to our AI provider.

Your content

You own the essays, recordings and other work you submit. You give us permission to store and process it, and to send it to our service providers, so we can score it, give you feedback and show you your results. Book reviews you post are visible to other users. You can ask us to delete your content at any time.

Our content

The tests, questions, audio, explanations and software on IELTS Today are owned by us or our licensors. You may use them for your own personal exam preparation. Don't copy, redistribute, resell or publish them.

Acceptable use

Don't:

  • scrape, download in bulk or copy test content, or access the service with bots;
  • try to break, overload or get around the service's security or limits;
  • post reviews that are abusive, misleading, unlawful or spam;
  • submit other people's personal data, or content you don't have the right to share;
  • use the service to break the law.

We may restrict or close accounts that break these terms. You can stop using IELTS Today at any time and ask us to delete your account.

Price

IELTS Today is currently free. If we introduce paid features, we'll tell you the price and terms before you're charged anything.

Disclaimers and liability

We provide the service "as is" and work to keep it accurate and available, but we can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, including exam results or decisions you make based on our scores or feedback. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll tell you in the app before they take effect.
